Detectives investigating a deadly Brooklyn stabbing on Saturday night are talking to two people of interest taken into custody at the scene.
Police said the 24-year-old male victim was knifed in the back at about 10:20 p.m. on May 14 in front of an apartment building on the 1300 block of 40th Street in Borough Park.
Officers from the 66th Precinct found the wounded victim while responding to a 911 call about an assault in progress.
EMS rushed the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.
During the preliminary investigation, officers recovered a knife at the scene, and located two people of interest in connection with the homicide. Those individuals were brought to the 66th Precinct for further questioning.
Charges against them are pending the results of the ongoing investigation, police said.
