A Brooklyn woman who allegedly struck a Black woman in the face and uttered racist remarks has been charged with a hate crime, police said Friday.
Linette Difrancesco, 54, allegedly punched a 50-year-old woman in the face in an unprovoked attack whilst making anti-Black remarks at the intersection of Kings Highway and Avenue O at around 6 p.m. on March 30.
“Black piece of s—t,” she reportedly said. “That’s what you are.”
The victim did not require medical attention as a result of the attack.
Difrancesco has been charged with assault as a hate crime.
