A bus driver was fatally struck and killed in a Brooklyn hit-and-run while he exited his car for work on Friday morning.
At around 6 a.m. on April 5, the victim, a 57-year-old man, was struck as he exited his vehicle at Wortman Avenue and Georgia Avenue. The victim was stuck by a four-door sedan traveling eastbound on Wortman Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police have yet to release the victim’s identity, however nearby workers noted that the victim was a bus driver. Those at the scene believe that an argument between two pimps may have caused the collision following an argument.
“Could you imagine losing your life going to drop off someone’s loving sweet children,” a bystander told amNewYork Metro.
Detectives and Officers from the NYPD Highway Collision Units are looking for a grey four-door sedan that they believe is involved in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
