What do you like about Union Square?
It’s pretty natural compared to the rest of New York. It’s less urban in the heart of an urban area. It’s also very family friendly.
How often do you come to Union Square?
About once a week, mostly to drop off my compost and do shopping.
What’s your favorite thing here?
Definitely the children’s playground and the Farmers’ Market.
Why do you come to Union Square and not another park?
For me it’s convenient. Everything here meets that need. Children can have fun, there’s no sense of having to rush. It slows down your pace a little bit.
