Police are searching for a knife-wielding perp who allegedly attacked three men following an argument in the Bronx earlier this month.
According to law enforcement sources, the incident occurred at around 1 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 near the corner of Sackett Avenue and Williamsbridge Road in Morris Park.
Four men, including the perp, were involved in a verbal dispute at the intersection before the suspect escalated the fight by whipping out a knife, police said.
He then attacked each man, all strangers to him, authorities said. He stabbed a 27-year-old man in the abdomen, slashed a 24-year-old man in the abdomen and then slashed another 27-year-old man in the right arm, police said.
The suspect fled eastbound on Williamsbridge Road before officers from the 49th Precinct arrived in response to a 911 call about the incident. EMS also responded and brought the victims to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
No arrests have been made yet, but police on Monday released a photo and video of the suspect. He is described as having a light complexion and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black vest with orange patches, black pants and black sneakers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
