Police have arrested a 35-year-old man wanted in connection to the murder of his girlfriend who was found fatally stabbed in the Brooklyn apartment they shared last month.
Timothy Taylor was arrested Wednesday in relation to the death of Theresa Gregg, 37, who was found dead with stab wounds to her neck inside her bedroom at 356 Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg at 8:22 a.m. on May 13. He has been charged with murder and the criminal possession of a weapon.
Taylor was also wanted in connection to the death of his ex-wife Tishawn Folkes-Taylor, 44, who was found dead inside her home on May 28 from trauma in Schenectady.
Taylor was on the run until federal marshals captured him on June 2 in Philadelphia, according to reports. The NYPD traveled to Philadelphia Wednesday and then charged him. He is expected to be brought to Schenectady to face a murder charge for the slaying of Folkes-Taylor.
Gregg was a police officer with the city’s Department of Homeless Services and her body was found by her children. Officers from the 90th Precinct responded to the gruesome discovery.
