Police are looking for a man who attacked a woman on a Midtown subway platform.
According to police, at 10:13 p.m. on July 15 a 60-year-old woman was standing on the 7 train platform at the Grand Central subway station when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man proceeded to punch the woman in the back of the head in an unprovoked attack.
The suspect then fled the scene on a northbound 5 train. The victim suffered injuries to her head and arm and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital for treatment.
