Police are looking for a pervert wanted for groping two women in broad daylight on Manhattan’s West Side this week.
Both incidents occurred within minutes of each the same morning. According to police, the first assault occurred at around 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26. A 34-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Ninth Avenue and W. 16 Street when the suspect ambushed her from behind, reached down and touched her private area.
Just minutes later, a 52-year-old was walking only a few blocks away at W. 18 Street and 10 Avenue when the perp came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks, police said.
Law enforcement sources said the handsy creep immediately ran off after committing both crimes, and no weapons were found at the scenes.
The victims were not hurt, but both women reported the assaults to authorities, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a male, approximately 6 feet tall with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a blue Carhartt hooded jacket.
