Detectives are looking for a suspect who robbed and sexually assaulted a woman on a Brooklyn street.
Police say that at 1 a.m. on July 25, a 28-year-old woman was walking on the steps going into a building in the vicinity of North 10th Street and Roebling Street when she was thrown down the stairs by an unknown man. The suspect then penetrated the victim with his finger while forcibly removing her purse.
The suspect then took off with the purse, which contained the victim’s cash, identification, and various credit cards, before fleeing the scene. The suspect later used the victim’s credit cards at a CVS, located at 2151 86th Street, and made $46.21 in purchases.
The NYPD released surveillance photos of the suspect taken from the CVS store, as well as a photo and video from the MTA system.
