A Brooklyn man was shot dead outside a seafood restaurant on Tuesday night, police reported.
The search continued Wednesday for the killer responsible for gunning down Philson Andrews, 36, of Montgomery Street near the Fun City restaurant at the corner of East 56th Street and Church Avenue in East Flatbush at about 9:33 p.m. on Jan. 10.
Officers from the 67th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the shooting, found Andrews at the intersection with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and right arm.
EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
So far, police sources said, detectives have yet to establish a motive for the shooting. NYPD sources provided only a vague description of a suspect, a man seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle after the deadly shots rang out.
No arrests have been made, thus far, in the ongoing investigation, police said.
