A DOT worker was injured early Friday morning after he was shot by a BB gun while working in Brooklyn.
It was reported at 8:25 a.m. on Aug. 13, a male DOT worker was at East 19th Street and Avenue L helping repair a sidewalk’s handicap access when he noticed that he was shot in the chest with a BB gun.
At this time, the NYPD could not provide a description of the suspect. The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
