The Empire State Building celebrated, mourned and marked special anniversaries with the people of New York in 2015.
The iconic building started the year on a somber note as it marked the tragic deaths of two NYPD officers and the passing of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo.
But it also celebrated lighter occasions, like the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team’s World Cup victory and the Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets.
