Firefighters battled a house fire that broke out in Brooklyn on Friday morning.
Units arrived to fire with smoke showing from the second floor of 292 East 92 St. in East Flatbush just after 8:25 a.m. on Dec. 22. Members quickly deployed two hose lines to knock down the main body of the fire.

Members performed an extensive overhaul of the apartment opening up the walls and pulling down the ceilings. Searches throughout the building yielded negative results for people trapped.
The fire was placed under control at 9:05 a.m.
