When the clock strikes midnight following New Year’s Eve, New Yorkers will celebrate the close of 2020.
Many may be ringing 2021 with a shelter-in-place New Year’s celebration. In honor of National Hangover Day on Jan. 1, Vita Coco is teaming up with Postmates to help Manhattanites recover on New Year’s Day.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Jan. 1, Manhattan residents within the delivery radius can order a Vita Coco National Hangover Day Recovery Kit. The kits are free to order through the Postmates app.
“It was really exciting to see how much demand there was for our hangover recovery kits in NYC last year, when we sold out in less than 30 minutes,” said Allison Finazzo, Sr. Brand Director of Vita Coco. “Given the amount of anxiety, stress, and exhaustion that we’ve all endured in 2020, it made sense to bring this program – which is meant to help you kickstart the new year on a healthier, happier note – back in a bigger, better way. It’s our job to help people feel good from the inside out, and we hope this gives people a chance to reset and recover from the comfort of your couch.”
Each kit comes with a breakfast sandwich, a Vita Coco coconut water, cozy socks, a webcam cover, a head scratcher, earplugs, Banila Skincare and a free month at Obé Fitness. For every kit distributed, Vita Coco will donate $5 to ABC Food Tours, a non-profit organization providing nutritional education and resources to kids in New York and Los Angeles.
The kits will be available while supplies last and are available for contactless delivery. To learn more about Vita Coco, visit vitacoco.com.
