On Wednesday, Sept. 18, the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) will honor athletes with physical disabilities and highlight their achievements at the Heroes, Heart & Hope Gala.

Those in attendance will hear inspiring stories from CAF athletes and engage in an entertaining program and dinner while raising funds for adaptive sports equipment and programs.

Philanthropists Scott and Emily Stackman, longtime supporters of CAF and advocates for individuals with physical disabilities, are serving as Chairs of the event, leading efforts to make this year’s gala a success.

This year’s honoree is Alan Mnuchin, who has been a CAF supporter since 2007. He will be recognized for his dedication to empowering athletes with disabilities through sport. This year’s special guests include American sportscaster Bob Costas, 14-year-old athlete Rosalie Parker, and father/son duo Scott and Tyler Sussman.

The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at Casa Cipriani South, located at 10 South St.
