It’s official: Hillary Clinton is in Brooklyn.
Clinton on Thursday made her first visit to the borough since she announced she was running for president last month.
She stopped by her campaign headquarters at 1 Pierrepont Plaza, and also met with supporters on the streets. She had lunch at Monty Q’s, a pizza parlor on Montague street. According to The New York Times, she had a salad. She also stopped a children’s clothing boutique (oh Brooklyn), and bought a romper. (for baby Charlotte?) And of course, there were selfies.
Clinton’s campaign released a jaunty video of the trip on its Facebook page.
“Brooklyn, USA … How can you beat that?” Clinton asks in the video as she poses with a vanity plate.
In addition to Brooklyn Heights, Clinton met with donors at the Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook, according to the Times.
