Police are searching for this suspect who allegedly sexually abused a woman at the West 4th Street subway station in Manhattan.

Police in Manhattan are searching for a suspect who allegedly went up to a stranger to kiss and fondle her inside the West 4th Street subway station last month.

According to law enforcement sources, the creepy incident took place on Saturday, Feb. 8, at around 1:15 a.m. inside the West Village-based station located within the confines of the 6th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 2

The brazen perp approached the 31-year-old female victim as she waited for a train. He then kissed her, and followed up the act by touching her breast and private area over her clothes, police sources said.

It is unknown right now if the suspect said anything before he went up to the woman. But immediately following the abuse, he left the station on foot eastbound on Wavery Place to parts unknown.

Authorities said the victim was not injured as a result of the creepy crime.

Police on Saturday released a surveillance photo and video of the suspect, who remains at large.

So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
