Police in Manhattan are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 31-year-old man during an early morning altercation outside a nightclub early on Monday morning.

Officers from the 34th Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing at the Taboga Room, a nightclub and restaurant at 421 West 202nd St. in Inwood, shortly before 3:30 a.m. on April 7. Inside, police found a 28-year-old man with a slash wound to the neck.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and was listed in stable condition.

About 45 minutes later, at 4:14 a.m., officers were alerted to a second stabbing victim, a 31-year-old man who had been wounded during a reported altercation outside the club. He was also taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim’s identity is being withheld by officials pending family notification.

A suspect in both stabbing incidents has not yet been identified, and no arrests have been made as of Monday morning, police said. Authorities are also investigating whether the two stabbings are connected.
