McCain visits Downtown

Sen. John McCain, the Republican Party’s candidate for president, had a “Town Hall” meeting in Federal Hall last Thursday with a mostly Republican crowd. McCain has invited his Democratic opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, to 10 joint town halls before the November election. Obama has endorsed the idea of participating in some, but the two campaigns have not agreed on the details yet.
