Staff from the Lower East Side Tenement Museum and the Working Playground group and students from New Design High School recently unveiled a mural the students painted at 103 Orchard St., future home of the museum’s visitors center in 2009. The students worked with the nonprofit Working Playground, an art-in-school group, on the mural celebrating the neighborhood’s past and present cultural heritage.
