Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest 2017: Photos from the Coney Island event

Hundreds gathered in Coney Island this Fourth of July to watch competitive eaters go bun-to-bun for the annual Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Last year’s champions, Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo, blew the competition out of the water to reign supreme once again.

Chestnut even broke his own previous record, eating 72 hot dogs and buns in just 10 minutes.
