Service on Metro-North’s Hudson Line will be almost fully restored for today’s commute. Gov. Andrew Cuomo said more than 98% of service will be restored to the line by the morning rush hour.
Service in the area where the derailment occurred will be limited to a single track while crews repair two tracks, according to the MTA.
With service limited to one track for a mile, six trains during the peak morning rush will be consolidated into three. The MTA expects 10- to 15-minute delays on the Hudson Line.
