After several soggy days, the sun returned Friday, but it won’t stick around for long, the National Weather Service said.
Saturday afternoon is expected to remain mostly dry, with temperatures in the low 80s, but the NWS said wet weather is on track for the evening. There is a 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 4 p.m.
The chance for rain increases by Sunday, with partly sunny skies, a high near 78 degrees and another round of thunderstorms possible.
"Sunday looks like there will be a better chance of wetter weather," NWS meteorologist Faye Morrone said. "There’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms pretty much all day, becoming more likely as we move into the afternoon."
