From LiLo to k.d., it’s all in a paparazzo’s week
On April 12, actress and tabloid favorite Lindsay Lohan — sporting a cool finger tattoo — exited the Times Square Sheraton Hotel, left, after a press conference announcing she would play Victoria Gotti in the new Gotti family biopic. Curtis Sliwa is petitioning City Hall not to allow the film to shoot here, saying, “The city shouldn’t be in the business of glorifying criminals.” The Guardian Angels leader was shot and almost killed in the East Village by a Gotti henchman in 1992 after he made insulting remarks about mafia don John Gotti on his radio show. On April 14, Canadian singer k.d. lang, right, was at the “Good Morning America” Times Square studio. It’s safe to say she probably was not offered a role in the Gotti flick, and probably wasn’t interested in one, either — though one never knows.
