West and East Village, Chelsea, Soho, Noho, Little Italy, Chinatown and Lower East Side, Since 1933 In the days and weeks after 9/11, missing persons posters for the victims of the Trade Center attack were ubiquitous Downtown, particularly around the former St. Vincent’s Hospital. As made clear by the fliers, the victims came from all walks of life, all races and all religions.
