The NYPD is investigating the death of a man who was found slashed in the neck on a Brooklyn street.
According to police, at 6:31 a.m. on Dec. 12 officers responded to a 911 call regarding a man in need of help at the corner of Stanwix Street and Melrose Street. Upon arrival, they found 37-year-old Luis Ocasio lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive with multiple lacerations to his neck.
Paramedics declared Ocasio dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
