Queens detectives need the public’s help in finding the suspect behind a violent stabbing earlier this month.
The NYPD released images over the weekend of the perpetrator responsible for the bloody assault, which occurred at 95-35 Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica at about 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 9.
According to law enforcement sources, the victim, a 25-year-old man, got into a dispute with the suspect, which escalated into a physical altercation. During the struggle, cops said, the perpetrator pulled out a sharp object and began stabbing the man multiple times in the neck, chest and back.
Following the attack, cops said, the assailant fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the 103rd Precinct. The victim was taken by private means to Jamaica Hospital for treatment; he was listed in stable condition.
