Police on the Upper East Side are on the hunt for a brute who sucker-punched a senior in a brazen, daylight attack outside a supermarket earlier this month, authorities said.

EMS rushed the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital where she was treated for face pain and suffered bruising and swelling. She is expected to recover. The incident was reported to the 19th Precinct.
Law enforcement described the attacker as a man with a bald head ho was last seen wearing glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, black sneakers, and was carrying a backpack. Police have received surveillance images of the suspect in hopes he will be recognized.
