Washington Square Park was the scene of organized chaos on the night of Sat., Sept. 24, as the third annual Lightsaber Battle NYC was underway. Adults, kids and, well, adults who acted like kids, put their weapons to the test while the crowds cheered them on. The brainchild of Newmindspace, a nonprofit organization founded by Kevin Bracken and Lori Kufner, the event filled the park with Jedis and Siths and a variety of sabers, homemade to custom made.
