A pair of “sticker bombers” festooned the Gay Pride March route last Friday and Saturday night with hundreds of stick-on images of Washington and Jefferson kissing, taken from the quarter and the nickel, respectively. They pasted them everywhere, in both small and large sizes: on lampposts, mailboxes, construction fencing, the backs of crosswalk lights. They said they admired the work of the enigmatic subway graffiti artist known as “Moustache,” who was recently arrested.
