Police in the Bronx are investigating a stabbing near a high school just as classes were getting underway on Wednesday morning that left a teenager wounded.
Authorities say the bloody assault unfolded outside of John F. Kennedy High School located at 99 Terrace View Ave. at around 8:45 a.m. on Feb. 26.
While the circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear, cops say a 16-year-old boy was attacked by multiple individuals, with another 16-year-old boy being the one who stabbed him in the abdomen. Police believe the victim knew his attackers.
Officers from the 50th Precinct responded to the scene, packed him into a cruiser, and rushed him to Allen Pavillion Hospital. The victim is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
