Alleged members of the Trinitarios gang stabbed and beat a 14-year-old member of a rival gang last week on the Bronx River Parkway, police and a court document said.
Between two barriers in the middle of the parkway, as cars drove by, the group of at least 12 surrounded the teen, stabbing and striking him multiple times, at about 5:30 p.m. near the East Gun Hill Road exit on June 18, video released by the NYPD shows.
A member of the Trinitarios, a Dominican gang, allegedly ordered a “hit” on the teen because of an argument between the teen’s girlfriend and a female member of the gang, according to a criminal complaint. The victim is an alleged member of a rival gang, the Grizzlies, which is a set of the Bloods gang, the complaint says.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi with 13 to 16 stab wounds. He remained in serious condition Tuesday, police said.

Ramon Paulino, 21, who is accused of swinging a log at the victim during the attack, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, gang assault and assault. Paulino admitted that he was a member of the Trinitarios, the complaint says.
Police were still looking for the other suspects seen in the video.
The stabbing happened days before the fatal stabbing of another teen in the Bronx, reportedly by members of the same gang.
Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz was dragged out of a bodega and stabbed repeatedly with a machete, but he was not the intended target, police said. Eight men were arrested in connection to the killing, police said.
