Cops are looking for a crook who robbed a man at a Midtown West gas station.
According to police, at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 6 a 56-year-old man was pumping gas at the BP station, located at 466 10th Avenue, when he was approached by an unknown man. The man questioned the victim about the contents of his car.
The suspect proceeded to enter the car and took the contents inside the center console, which included $50, before fleeing the scene westbound on 36th Street. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The suspect is described as a 30-year-old light-skinned man standing 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, tan pants and a black hat.
