Time’s Up! rolls out of storefront space

Last Friday the Time’s Up! space on E. Houston St. was its usual beehive of activity. However, instead of bike repair workshops or film screenings, the activity centered around emptying out the space. The 20-year-old environmental advocacy group, which has been at the E. Houston St. space since 2004, was in the process of moving to the West Village. Time’s Up! supporter Steve Stollman, owner of the East Village storefront, had sold the building, forcing the cyclists to find a new space. They will move into The Hub Station at 73 Morton St. near Hudson St. The group planned to be up and running after the weekend with a Monday bike repair workshop.
