The NYPD is looking for a group of suspects who attacked and robbed a man in the East Village last month.
Authorities say that at 12:42 p.m. on Jan. 13, a 29-year-old man was standing in the vicinity of 1st Avenue and East 3rd Street when he was approached by a group of unknown individuals. The group proceeded to punch the victim multiple times throughout his body.
The crooks then snatched the victim’s cellphone before fleeing the scene on East 3rd Street. The victim suffered a fractured jaw as a result and was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment.
