A man riding a motorized scooter dragged an 86-year-old woman down a sidewalk in Manhattan after grabbing her purse earlier this month, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of the incident Monday in hopes of identifying the man.
Wearing a yellow helmet, the suspect is seen mounting the sidewalk at First Avenue and East 64th Street in Lenox Hill at about 3 p.m. on May 4. As he goes by the woman, he grabs her purse, and when she falls to the ground, he drags her for several feet down the sidewalk.
