A 75-year-old woman is recovering after being pushed to the ground on an East Harlem subway station early Tuesday morning.

According to law enforcement sources, the woman was standing on the platform of the southbound number 4 train inside the busy 125th Street station at around 12:37 a.m. on Oct. 22 when a man approached her and brutally shoved her to the ground.

The suspect then kept on walking, according to an ABC 7 article.

Police could not confirm whether the brazen brute said anything to the victim before he went on the attack.

The victim was brought to Mount Sinai Morningside for treatment of lacerations to her lip and bruising to her face, police said. She is currently in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
