Bronx killer still at large for stabbing man dead during argument: cops

Detectives in the Bronx continue to look for the suspect behind a deadly stabbing during an argument on Saturday morning.

Polices said Lamont Hough, 40, of Ward Avenue in the Bronx was fatally attacked during a dispute in front of an apartment building at 1117 Westchester Ave. in Longwood at about 7:01 a.m. on July 27.

Officers from the 41st Precinct, in responding to a 911 call regarding the incident, found Hough at the location with a stab wound to his torso.

EMS rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.

Through July 21, the 41st Precinct had reported two homicides year-to-date, down from seven at the same point in 2023, according to the most recent CompStat report.
