Driver fatally strikes man walking on FDR: NYPD

A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a man on the FDR Drive Sunday evening, according to police.

The unidentified victim walked onto the highway near 14th Street when a southbound motorist struck him and fled around 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 25, according to NYPD.

First responders found the man with severe injuries and declared him dead at the scene, cops said.

Officials have not yet identified the victim or tracked down the driver.
