Four people were stabbed on board a party boat during a dinner cruise off of Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon, police reported.
The incident happened on board the Cornucopia Majesty at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, in the vicinity of 1st Street and 58th Avenue in Sunset Park.
Two of the four victims were listed in serious condition, while two others were stable at local hospitals, according to law enforcement sources.
While the motive for the violence remains under investigation, eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene on board as the stabbing occurred.
“We saw all the rowdiness, it was crazy,” one person told amNewYork Metro. “There was no real control on the boat. It was pure chaos.”
Another witness said the experience turned them off to future maritime gatherings.
“I’ll never take another boat party anywhere. This was absolutely crazy,” the witness said.
Numerous Police and Fire Department units, and the Coast Guard, responded to the incident.
According to preliminary reports, two individuals were taken into custody. Charges are pending the ongoing investigation.
