Man shot at Harlem’s St. Nicholas Houses dies, cops still seeking suspects

Cops are still looking for the alleged gunmen who fatally shot a man in Harlem’s St. Nicholas Houses Sunday night.

According to authorities, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot inside 200 West 131st St. at around 9:04 p.m. on March 26. When officers arrived, they found the victim — 24-year-old Georgia Alonza, who lived in the public housing complex — with a gunshot wound to the torso.

He was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, reportedly in stable condition, but was pronounced dead Monday.

Authorities said Sunday they were seeking two men with dark complexions who fled on foot and were last seen wearing black ski masks. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
