Police in the Bronx are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a 55-year-old man multiple times, leaving him bloodied and near death last month.

Law enforcement sources are searching for 68-year-old Ricaldo Swift, who is wanted for attempted murder after the brutal attack that occurred at the intersection of Bronxwood Avenue and East 219 Street in Williamsbridge just before 8 p.m. on Oct. 13.

According to police sources, Swift approached the victim–whom he knew–and stabbed him repeatedly throughout his body. Police could not yet confirm what the relationship was between Swift and the victim.

It is not clear yet what may have led to the brutal attack, but the suspect fled the scene on foot to parts unknown before officers from the 47th Precinct arrived.

Meanwhile, EMS responded and rushed the severely hurt man to NYC Health and Hospital/Jacobi in critical condition.

Police have been searching for Swift in connection with the crime, and released his photo to the public on Monday.

So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing.
