Police in Manhattan are looking for the home invader who forced his way into an apartment and then beat and robbed a resident last weekend.
The NYPD released on Thursday images of the perpetrator sought in the incident that occurred at about 9:26 p.m. on Feb. 22 at a building near West 30th Street and 11th Avenue in Hudson Yards.
According to law enforcement sources, the crook managed to enter the apartment building and then managed to force his way into an apartment where a 42-year-old man lives.
Cops said the home invader proceeded to punch the man in the face, then forcibly removed property from him and abruptly exited the apartment. Authorities reported that the perpetrator was last seen heading on foot northbound along 11th Avenue.

The incident was reported to the 10th Precinct. Police said the victim suffered facial lacerations but refused medical attention at the scene.
As shown in the images police released, the suspect appeared to have a light complexion, short dark-colored hair, and a beard. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the Nike Air logo, gray pants and black-and-white sneakers.
In one picture, he is shown wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with a black sweatshirt draped over his left shoulder.
