Police are looking for the suspects behind a Manhattan subway slashing last month in which they attacked two teenage boys with a scalpel and stole their sneakers.
The NYPD released on March 4 images of two perpetrators involved in the bloody attack at the Dyckman Street station on the 1 line in Inwood at about 3 p.m. on Feb. 17.
According to law enforcement sources, four attackers approached the two male victims, ages 15 and 16, as they stood on the southbound platform.
Cops said the group then went on the attack, punching and kicking the victims about the body. One of the suspects then displayed a scalpel and used the sharp surgical instrument to slash the 16-year-old boy across the head, and the 15-year-old boy across the nose and lip.

Following the bloody assault, the brutes forcibly removed the 16-year-old’s cellphone and Nike Jordan sneakers, and managed to grab one of the 15-year-old’s Nike Jordan sneakers off his foot. The crew then fled the scene on foot and were last seen heading northbound on Dyckman Street.
The incident was reported to the 34th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 3. EMS rushed both victim to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.
Police described one of the suspects as a male believed to be 16 years of age with a medium complexion, slim build and black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark green Canada Goose coat with a hood, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
The other suspect, cops said, was a male with a dark complexion who was last seen wearing a black winter coat with a hood lined with tan fur, and blue jeans.
