Police arrested a man Wednesday wanted for allegedly shooting four people—one fatally—in Queens last month.
Eric Foster, 39, was arrested on Jan. 24 for allegedly opening fire on four men, killing one of them, in South Jamaica just over a month prior, police said. The bullet storm took place on Dec. 22 at around 3:15 p.m. outside of a home located at 117-29 143rd St. Four men were standing near a car when Foster allegedly walked up and started firing, authorities said.
Kenni Dunn, 29, the man killed, was shot in the back while another 29-year-old was struck in the right arm. A 36-year-old man was also wounded when he was shot in the right shoulder and a 43-year-old man was hit in the back and right arm. All four victims were rushed to Jamaica Hospital where Dunn was pronounced dead. The other three men survived the attack.
On the day of the attack police reported that the shooting was being investigated as a gang-related incident. However, the exact beef between the individuals is not clear.
Foster remained quiet as he was led out of the 113th Precinct in cuffs on Wednesday evening. He is charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, and current position of weapon.
