Queens police are looking for the reckless fool who threw rocks from an overpass at vehicles traveling on an expressway below — leaving four people injured in the process.
The NYPD released images of the suspect behind the dangerous stunt, which occurred at about 2 a.m. on March 16 at the 39th Avenue overpass above the Clearview Expressway in Bayside.
Law enforcement sources said the miscreant tossed the rocks from the overpass at the passing vehicles. Ten vehicles, in all, were struck by the debris, with police reporting damages in excess of $5,000.
Meanwhile, the stunt also proved harmful for four people who suffered minor lacerations to the face and arms. They were treated at local hospitals.
The incident was reported to the 111th Precinct.
As shown in the images police provided, the suspect had bushy hair and wore a green t-shirt, dark-colored pants and white shoes.
