Transit detectives are looking for the suspect behind a subway stabbing in Lower Manhattan last weekend.
The NYPD released on Friday night images of the perpetrator behind the bloody assault, which took place at about 1:20 a.m. on April 5 on board a northbound 4 train at the Bowling Green subway station in the Financial District.
Law enforcement sources said the perpetrator approached the victim, a 34-year-old man, and stabbed in the left side of the abdomen with an unidentified sharp object.
Following the attack, cops said, the suspect exited the train at Bowling Green and fled in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the 1st Precinct and NYPD Transit District 2. EMS rushed the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion who was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a black sweatshirt and black pants.
