Police in the Bronx are still looking for the suspect who shot two men at an intersection on Friday night.
Law enforcement sources said the double shooting occurred at about 8:05 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the corner of Hunts Point Avenue and Gilbert Place in Hunts Point.
Officers from the 41st Precinct, in responding to a 911 call at the scene, found the two victims — ages 20 and 38 — each shot once in the stomach.
EMS rushed the victims to Jacobi Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown and under investigation, law enforcement sources said Saturday morning.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said. Detectives are looking for the suspected shooter, whom police described as a Hispanic male wearing a black sweatshirt and black jeans, who fled on foot after wounding the two men.
