Police are looking for the man who stabbed a 23-year-old during a failed robbery attempt inside a Midtown subway station on Dec. 23.
According to the investigation, the suspect approached the victim at the 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal train depot at around 9 p.m, and tried to snatch his cellphone.
The victim resisted the robbery, prompting the perp to brandish a knife and stab him in the torso.
Paramedics rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment of his wounds in stable condition.
The assailant, meanwhile, fled the station before police arrived.
Cops described the wanted man as having a light skin complexion and standing approximately 5’5” tall.
