Police in Manhattan are looking for three suspects connected to a shooting early on Sunday morning that left a man seriously wounded.

Law enforcement sources said the incident happened at about 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 20 at the corner of 12th Avenue and West 50th Street, across from Pier 90.

Officers from the Midtown North Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim, a 39-year-old man, with a bullet wound to his right leg.

EMS rushed the wounded victim to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Early on in the investigation, police determined that three male suspects were seen fleeing the location inside a black Honda sedan seconds after the shooting. Police sources said the individuals in the sedan were last seen heading in an unknown direction.

The motive for the shooting remains unknown and under investigation. So far, no arrests have been made, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.

Through Oct. 13, the Midtown North Precinct reported just four shootings year-to-date, according to the most recent CompStat report; that’s just one more than the total it registered a year ago.
